Ego has been a regular artist in residence with Arena Theatre company as part of their school residency program.
Working with students in Melton, VIC, he tapped into their stories and ideas of times when it felt like they were flying to build an interactive ‘flight simulator’ as part of Arena’s ‘flock’ themed residency.
Triggered by trampoline, midi controllers, live camera, green screen and projection – and featuring the students’ illustrations and ideas the simulator projected themselves back in real-time in an imagination-filled live installation.
